The course comprises eight meetings, starting on 10 March and lasting until the end of April. Register at www.anmii.evenea.pl. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur training course is mostly addressed to persons working in the field of PR, promotion and communication, who would like to start relying on new technological solutions and learn how to use new media more effectively,\u201d explains Karina Rojek from the City Culture Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PR strategies in social media will be discussed by <\/span><b>Anna Miotk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, communications director in Polskie Badania Internetu (PBI), who specializes in the measurement and efficiency of PR actions. <\/span><b>Adrian Werner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who runs his own business and is the driving force behind the Igersgdansk community, will talk about the tips and tricks of managing an Instagram account and will introduce the participants to the basics of mobile photography. A workshop on the effective use of hashtags and managing social media profiles will be held by <\/span><b>Dominik Pokornowski<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an expert in online communications at haipaa. <\/span><b>Sebastian \u0141ubik<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Dailyweb.pl will teach the participants to edit texts published on websites according to SEO and adapt them to WCAG 2.0 standards. The subject of open resources and the multitude of sources we can legally use will be explored by <\/span><b>Karina Rojek<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the City Culture Institute, editor of www.szukamy.org. A workshop on preparing and designing apps will be held in Hackerspace Tr\u00f3jmiasto in the unusual <\/span><b>Hackaton <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">formula\u2013 an all-night meeting, during which an interdisciplinary team is working on several projects at the same time. The <\/span><b>GLAMWIKI Association <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will hold a workshop on editing articles and Wikimedia Commons<\/span><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The course will end with a seminar entitled <\/span><b>Remixing culture \u2013 the do\u2019s and don\u2019ts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, during which the participants will talk about remixing works of art, copyrights, the public domain, ethics, artistic freedom and how to reconcile all of the above. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Organizational information<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course will be held in March and April 2018. Classes will take place every two weeks, on Saturdays and Sundays, at the City Culture Institute (room 209, 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> floor). Workshop weekends: 10-11\/03, 24-25\/03, 7-8\/04, 21-22\/04. The price of the whole course is PLN 600.00 + 23% VAT (PLN 738.00 gross). The City Culture Institute is a training institution entered in the Register of Training Organizations kept by the Provincial Labour Office under no. 2.22\/00102\/2017.
