Very Young Culture 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the last three years, the City Culture Institute has\nsupported activities in the scope of cultural education in Gda\u0144sk and the\nregion under the Network of Culture project.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u2018Very\nYoung Culture 2019-2021 \u2013 Pomeranian Province\u2019, the fourth edition of the\ncompetition for projects promoting a synergy between the worlds of culture and\neducation, was launched on 18 July.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Applications\nmay be sent in two categories, and the total amount of funding is PLN 51,000.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>For more information, go to:<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sieckultury.pl\"><strong>www.sieckultury.pl<\/strong><\/a>.<strong> <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In previous\neditions of the competition, grants were given to organisers and partners from\nLuzin, Subkowe, G\u0142\u00f3wczyce, Chojnice, Czarna D\u0105br\u00f3wka, S\u0142upsk, Gda\u0144sk, Wejherowo\nand Cz\u0142uch\u00f3w, among others. Initiatives proposed by\neducators and cultural organisers from the region led to a workshop combining\ncomic books and philosophy, theatre performances, a children\u2019s book on\nemotions, painting and claymaking workshops, project swaps and\nintergenerational meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018We are\nhoping to see another good year in the cultural education sector in Gda\u0144sk and\nthe region. The Very Young Culture programme supports joint\nprojects prepared by people and entities from the educational and cultural sector. We\nhope to again receive many amazing proposals. Importantly,\nthose wanting to apply for funding have to participate in compulsory workshops\ntaking place on 20-21 August and 22-23 August. Applications\nmay be send until 30 August\u2019, explains Agata Andrasiak-Czarnecka from the City\nCulture Institute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who may take\npart in the competition?<\/strong> Natural persons,\ninformal teams (of at least 2 persons), public sector entities and\nnon-governmental organisations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">that: reside\nand\/or pursue cultural and\/or educational activity within the Pomeranian\nProvince and are of full legal age. The team has\nto include at least one representative of the culture sector and one\nrepresentative of the educational sector; this cooperation may also be ensured\nby a partner\/partners participating in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What are the\navailable grants?<\/strong> The committee will\nselect 6 projects that will receive funding. These will\ninclude \u2018small\u2019 projects for beginners and \u2018large\u2019 ones for experienced\napplicants. \u2018Small\u2019 projects may receive up to PLN 5,000\nand \u2018large\u2019 ones \u2013 PLN 12,000. The total amount\nearmarked for activities under the programme is PLN 51,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Terms and\nconditions of participation.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>In order to\nparticipate in the competition, you first have to attend a compulsory workshop\nin one of the two available dates:&nbsp; 20-21\/08\/2019&nbsp;or&nbsp;22-23\/08\/2019.\nIn order to take part, you have to correctly fill in the registration form published\non <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sieckultury.pl\">www.sieckultury.pl<\/a> on 23 July\nand send it until 12 August. Whether or not you\nqualify for the workshop will depend on the quality of your answers contained\nin the form. This is not a \u2018first come, first served\u2019\nsituation. Then, until 30 August, you have to submit the\ncompetition application presenting your cultural education project based on a\npartnership between the educational and cultural sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed\nactivities may take place between 16 September and 25 October 2019 within the\nPomeranian Province.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How will the\ncompetition be scored?<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>All\napplications will be examined by a specially appointed committee composed of\npersons with a cultural and\/or educational background. Each project\nwill be scored on the 0-100 points scale. For detailed\ncriteria, rules and regulations and appendices, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sieckultury.pl\">www.sieckultury.pl<\/a>.
